We work a little different than the traditional cost-plus construction model. We at Ravenwood believe that each project is unique and has different challenges associated with it and we believe that is how a customer should be charged. We don’t think that you should have to pay more for our contracting services just because you choose a more expensive floor, tile, or roof. We tailor each bid specific to the scope of work and charge accordingly for our services. Some projects will require more supervision than others. As a result, we believe that it is fairer to the customer to charge according to the amount of time and resources that we must put forth rather than just charging a percentage of the total job. We truly custom tailor each job to each client for a truly exceptional construction experience.

The design process of a project is a very detailed and personal part of each and every project. We try to accommodate this by being as flexible as possible. We work with a long list of traditional design and architecture firms to achieve our clients’ design dreams for their perfect project. You can either bring your own designer on board for the project or choose from one of the preferred vendors from our hand selected list. If you decide that you do not want a formal designer in the process, we would be happy to help with the design process or defer to your judgment.

The process of a cost proposal can be a long drawn out process if not handled correctly. We at Ravenwood have simplified this process with our two step proposal process.

Step 1: Call and set an appointment with us. We will come to the proposed jobsite and look at any plans and figure out the scope of the project. Once we get an idea of exactly what a client’s needs are, we then put together a quick estimate for the customer to make sure that they are in the same ballpark with their numbers as we are with ours so we can be on the same page.

Step 2: Once both parties are on the same page, we will bring our tradesmen to the jobsite to get a very detailed analysis of each and every aspect of the project. We then put the numbers together in the form of a formal estimate. You will be able to see every part of the cost broken out including Ravenwood’s cost. We believe that a customer has the right to know where each and every dollar goes during the entire construction process.
